The weather certainly had a chill but the club's first Young Eagles Day went off without a hitch. We flew 20 kids from Airdrie and Calgary on a 15 minute tour that included the town of Crossfield. Afterwards there were a bunch of parents standing around so we gave them flights too. Judging by the smiles on everyone's faces it was a success.

Thanks go out to all the club members who participated including pilots Fred and Richard Wiskar, Rob Doel, Trevor McTavish, Gordon Burton, Jim Corner and Ron Axelson. Trekker Armstrong and Wayne Van Beek manned the signup and certificates table and made sure there was enough hot chocolate and timbits for everyone.
