A Quick Trip into BC
Along the Trans Canada Highway

April, 2008

I just took a quick trip out to BC, and thought I'd share some of the pictures my brother Steve took on the way back.

The first two are over the "Salmon Arm" of the Shuswap Lake, flying east towards Sicamous, which is more visible in the third picture. For all of you that don't like flying in the mountains, there's a picture of the new bridge east of Golden, and some random mountain towering above our FL075 altitude (yes, had to tip the wing!). Due to scattered and broken layers between FL080 and FL095, we flew over Highway #1 nearly all the way to Minnewanka, where upon exiting you see Blackrock Mountain on the left.
