Leon Melsen, the Airpark General Manager, welcomes visitors to the airport but reminds you to call ahead to ensure that the runway lights are working, and that the runway has been plowed following snow falls.
If you're visiting by air, these local businesses can help arrange or provide transporation for you and your passengers. The
airport is 4km (2.5SM) east of the town, so we don't recommend walking.
On approach to runway 12 (short final), there are obstacles in the adjacent field known to cause optical illusions.
NORDO and ultralight aircraft occasionally use the airport, as well as the two local helicopter companies. Please be aware
that you might not be alone in the circuit.
